The Cool Spring Downtown District is proud to work with the Airborne and Special Operations Museum Foundation as a partner in the 12th Annual North Carolina Field of Honor®. Since its inception in 2008, The North Carolina Field of Honor® has been an annual tradition in Downtown Fayetteville.
Hundreds of flags will fly on the parade grounds of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Each flag comes with its own story and displays a tag identifying both the person who sponsored the flag and the flag honoree. This living display of heroism flies as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, and honors all who are currently serving, those that have served, and the men and women who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation’s security and freedom.
Flags may be purchased to honor the memory of a veteran or current service member from any branch of service. To sponsor a $35 Field of Honor® Flag, visit the ASOM Gift Store, or visit online https://shop.asomf.org/field-of-honor/
The 12th Annual North Carolina Field of Honor® will kick-off with an opening ceremony at 10am on Saturday, May 18, 2019, and will remain up until Thursday, June 27, 2019. The event is free to the public and will be located on the parade grounds of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum at 100 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
Proceeds from the 2019 North Carolina Field of Honor® will benefit the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation and the Cool Spring Downtown District.
