Downtown Rodeo Expands to Festival Park with Line Dance King, Cupid, Headlining

  FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Cool Spring Downtown District (CSDD) is pleased to announce the Downtown Rodeo: Festival Park Edition held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, for a full day of music, dancing, and community pride—headlined by Cupid, the internationally known "Line Dance King" and creator of the viral hit “Cupid Shuffle.” CSDD is pleased to support partners, Book Black Women Inc., and No Longer Bound Entertainment to bring this rain or shine celebration to downtown Fayetteville this summer This highly anticipated event will spotlight Southern culture through movement, food, and artistry, with an open invitation for all to join the dance floor. The day’s programming includes: - Music and DJ sets, including a headline performance by Cupid - Dance team showcases, step crews, and crowd-led line dancing - Food trucks and small business vendors featuring local and regional fare - Merchandise booths, art pop-ups, and community partners - A shaded VIP lounge with priority entrance, drink tickets, and access to an exclusive after-party event - Interactive zones designed for movement, photo ops, and cultural engagement Downtown Rodeo: Festival Park Edition is expected to draw a large crowd, with programming designed for families, music lovers, and community-minded audiences across North Carolina.
