SUMMARY:Citywide cleanup with the City of Fayetteville
DESCRIPTION:The City is inviting residents to sign up for the citywide cleanup event\, Fayetteville Beautiful. This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday\, March 28.\n\nIndividuals or volunteer groups interested in signing up should visit FayettevilleBeautiful.com to register and select a location on the interactive map to clean up. Participants are encouraged to choose any road to clean\, whether it be in their neighborhood or one around the City.  \nSupplies for residents participating in Fayetteville Beautiful will be available for pick up on Friday\, March 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 121 Lamon Street\, Fayetteville\, N.C. \nParticipants are asked to close and tie the tops of filled bags\, place only the orange bags along the roadside several yards from the pavement and consolidate them at intersections away from the roadway.  \nFor safety\, residents are encouraged to clean up during daylight hours.  \nThe litter picked up during the event will be collected on Monday\, March 30.   \nThe next Fayetteville Beautiful is scheduled for Saturday\, April 25.   \nFor questions regarding the cleanup event\, please contact Jessica Howell with Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation at 910-433-1397 or via email at JessicaHowell@FayettevilleNC.gov.    \nThe City is proud to partner with Keep America Beautiful for this event to make an even greater impact.
