SUMMARY:The District Summer Market at Festival Park
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to launch The District Summer Market at Festival Park\, located at 335 Ray Ave. in Fayetteville. This farmers-and-makers market is scheduled to be open to the public from 4 pm to 8 pm every Thursday—starting Jun. 3rd and ending Aug. 26th. The one exception is Jul. 1st\, when the market will be closed. \nMARKET WARES:\nVendors will be selling a variety of wares and products at the market each week\, and those include locally grown and harvested produce\, meat\, and seafood; locally made artwork and artisan goods; and much more. \nFOOD & BEVERAGES:\nFood and beverage trucks will be selling dinner\, drink\, and snack options each week in a rotating lineup throughout the summer. Canned beer from Bright Light Brewing Company and Gaston Brewing Company will also be available for purchase at the Cool Spring Downtown District tent (ID required). \nFREE ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES\nMusicians will be providing live musical performances from Festival Park’s dug-in amphitheater each week in a rotating lineup throughout the summer. A variety of games—such as cornhole\, Connect 4\, and ladder ball—will be available for groups to enjoy playing on Festival Park’s spacious lawn. \nInteractive activities are being planned for the market\, as well\, and that includes yoga sessions. Rose Nation Yoga & Fitness\, an up-and-coming addition to downtown\, will be leading these free sessions for market attendees on the lawn. \nAPPLY TO BE A VENDOR:\nWe are extending an invitation to the public to apply to be a vendor for one or more of the 12 markets being planned over the summer.
