ROMANTIC CARRIAGE RIDES RETURN DOWNTOWN FOR YOUR VALENTINE! A romantic carriage ride in historic downtown Fayetteville is now a Valentine’s tradition for lovers of all ages.  Be sure to book your reservation for this popular ride early!  Come by City Center Gallery & Books at 112 Hay Street to purchase your ticket, which you can enclose in a Valentine’s card. Or you can call 910-678-8899 and charge by phone. Tickets are $15 per person and $10 for children under the age of 10.  The Cool Spring Downtown District will host the horse-drawn carriage rides from 1:00 to 8pm on Saturday, February 16. The horse and carriage will be decorated for that perfect Valentine’s picture, so be sure to bring your iPhone! Rides depart every 20 minutes from 222 Hay Street (across from the Cameo Art House Theater). Each carriage holds 4 to 6 people. For a truly romantic experience, request a private carriage for $60 for two people.  Advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially for the private rides. In the event of bad weather, Valentine’s rides will be rescheduled to Sunday, February 17. Call 910-223-1089 after 10:00am on Saturday, February 16, for a recorded message if the weather looks bad.  Your reservations made for Saturday will still be the same for Sunday.
