The City of Fayetteville and Cool Spring Downtown District are pleased to announce the return of A District New Year’s Eve Spectacular for its fifth year, held in Festival Park (335 Ray Ave) on Wednesday, December 31 from 7:30PM-12:30AM. This year, organizers are excited to bring three touring acts to the District’s New Year’s celebration – Bubba Sparxxx, Yung Joc, and headliners, 702
Along with these powerhouse headliners, the District NYE Spectacular will feature several other local bands heating up the District Vibe @ NYE stage, electric DJ dance sets along with festive food trucks and libations, children’s activities, and more in an atmosphere alive with color, lights, sounds, and entertaining performances. Lastly at midnight, as we transition from 2025 to 2026, organizers will raise our custom-designed, radiant, 18ft multi-colored NYE star that is a symbol of the City of Fayetteville into the sky, illuminated by a spectacular burst of fireworks, as our community rings in the New Year together.

In addition to the main stage talent, CSDD is pleased to welcome back the Miss Juneteenth Fayetteville Scholarship Pageant, with a crowning ceremony to take place during the Jubilee. For more information regarding the pageant, please contact J19 Unity Pageant Director, Linyi Ridgell, via Facebook (@juneteenth.queens.fayetteville.nc). Community groups and local talent will also grace the Jubilee stage. Partners, Black Artist Forward, Black Canvas, and the Fayetteville State University Fine Arts department will fill the Jubilee with vibrant visual art, boldly capturing stories of black expression through the arts. Fun for the whole family, there will be a children’s entertainment area, and a ticketed VIP experience available. To round out the celebration, there will be a diverse selection of artisan, marketplace, small business, non-profit and food vendors offering unique products and experience for attendees.

Dominique Womack, a Fayetteville native and Douglas Byrd graduate is the midday host for the Carolina’s Rock Station Rock 103 and Promotions and Marketing Director for Cumulus Media Fayetteville. Dominique’s broadcasting career began when teachers in the Douglas Byrd High School district finally admitted defeat in trying to keep her quiet. She took her chatter to East Carolina University, where she fell hard for radio at WZMB and majored in Communication—because talking professionally sounded like a solid plan. Since then, she’s been a champion of Fayetteville’s arts scene, advocating for kids, belting out tunes at local karaoke nights (because talking wasn’t enough), and being a proud alumnus of Fayetteville State University class of 2023. She is a board member for the Arts Council Fayetteville Cumberland County, KidsPeace Fayetteville Area and the Cameo Collective and an auxiliary member of VFW Post 670, proving that sass and generosity go hand in hand. Whether on the mic or in the community, Dominique’s passion is as loud as her personality!
