About Cool Spring Downtown District
What is Cool Spring Downtown District?
Cool Spring Downtown District is a nonprofit organization formed in 2017 in a joint effort from the City of Fayetteville, The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County, and the Downtown Alliance to create and sustain an arts and entertainment district in Downtown Fayetteville, NC. CSDD works to grow Downtown Fayetteville’s dynamic hub where creativity, culture, and commerce thrive.

Is Cool Spring Downtown District part of the City of Fayetteville?
CSDD is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. CSDD holds contracts with the City of Fayetteville to curate two large-scale community festivals, as well as a Municipal Services (MSD) contract, wherein the organization receives a portion of a special tax in the District to support enhanced services such as shared waste management, public realm management and event support.
