Downtown Alliance invites you to a stakeholder briefing with City of Fayetteville staff, led by Byron Reeves (Assistant Public Services Director – Engineering). We’ll share updates and take questions related to the Market House projects and downtown pedestrian safety.
When: Monday, September 22, 2025 • 6:00 PM (doors open 5:45)
Where: 226 The Warehouse — 226 Donaldson St., Fayetteville, NC
Cost: Free • Please RSVP
What’s on the agenda:
– Current Market House renovations nearing completion and the scaffolding removal timeline
– Market House lighting project — using color to highlight events and special causes (e.g., pink for breast cancer)
– Market House Pedestrian Safety/Streetscape project — anticipated 6–8 month construction window targeted to begin March 2026 (tentative), with discussion of the impact of street closures on that timeline
– Proposed kiosks to help visitors learn about the Market House and area history
– Who should attend: downtown business owners/managers, staff, property owners, residents, and anyone interested in downtown.
RSVP: Click Get Tickets so we can alert the venue about seating setup needs and (optionally) submit a question for City staff in advance.
